Maliyah is 1!

It's crazy how fast time goes! It feels like yesterday that I did Maliyah's newborn pictures! It's so fun to see them grow! A lot has happened since I did her newborns though. In fact, Maliyah became my newest niece! I married her uncle Russell! Her mom and I had a blast doing these pictures! She is walking, and running. Not sitting and trying to crawl like most kids during a 1 year old shoot. No, this one felt more like a toddler shoot! But man it was fun! It took her a minute to warm up to me and the studio but once she did, she didn't stop moving.

It is finally my turn to be the bride instead of the photographer. Just because I'm the subject does not keep me from taking my own engagements though :) It was fun having my mother try to be the photographer after I had set up the shot. It was NOT easy, I'll tell you that much but it was sure fun! Our wedding is in Jan! :) Can't wait!
