Maliyah is 1!
It's crazy how fast time goes! It feels like yesterday that I did Maliyah's newborn pictures! It's so fun to see them grow! A lot has happened since I did her newborns though. In fact, Maliyah became my newest niece! I married her uncle Russell! Her mom and I had a blast doing these pictures! She is walking, and running. Not sitting and trying to crawl like most kids during a 1 year old shoot. No, this one felt more like a toddler shoot! But man it was fun! It took her a minute to warm up to me and the studio but once she did, she didn't stop moving.

So, I have been following your blog for a while now and love it! You take some beautiful photos! I enjoy shooting photos too. I was just wondering though if you would do a post on some tips or advice you would give to a photographer who is just beginning.
The pictures of Maliyah are adoreable. You did a great job. Thanks for sharing. You are very talented.
